Oregon Splendor

Heatherbullard_oregon

One of my recent shoots for Country Living was tucked away on this gorgeous property in Oregon. This was the driveway to the guest cottage we shot for an upcoming issue. Can you imagine driving home to this after a hard days work? How fortunate for Trina and her wonderful family to live in such a beautiful location.

During my drive to and from the hotel and set….I stumbled upon this amazing barn! And it’s for sale…just waiting for me to pack up my belongings and move north to rescue and restore it. You know The Man would be all over that idea. Plus, Trina and I would be neighbors…which would be an added bonus for me since she’s such a delight.

That does look magical. OUr country is so beautiful. I hope to see more of it someday when I can. One of my dreams is to drive across country and see our purple mountains majesty.
    I love you work.

Oregon is beautiful. We especially love the coast – a great place to vacation. Thanks for your gorgeous photos!

Thanks Lisa! I’ve always thought of driving coast to coast. As opposed to always flying it. 😉
    Have a beautiful weekend!

Oregon is beautiful and often some of the most beautiful things we discover “we stumble upon them”….so glad I found this blog. Beautiful images.

    Heather,
I love Trina’s blog and when she mentioned Country Living was going to feature their guest house I was so excited. These pictures are amazing. Mr. B and I have been to Portland for a wedding once and we both thought the area was so appealing. Not so sure about the rain, but maybe.

I’m a born and raised Oregonian, and have never lived anywhere else. I love it here, with its diverse landscapes and weather, and am always thrilled when it’s featured somewhere. Glad you appreciate it as we loyal Oregonians do!

That’s funny. About a year ago I shot several barns in that area, including this one. 🙂
