A Few of My Favorite Pinners

Oh, Pinterest. Before you, I used to tear out a thousand pages from magazines and file them away in heavy binders, not now…you’ve made life so much simpler.
And although I don’t pin thousands upon thousands of images, I am able to see my style more clearly defined through my curated boardsย and pins.ย Today, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite pinners. The ones I find myself re-pinning from again and again.

Above are pins fromย Ginny Branch Stelling, she has a keen eye for detail, and all things lovely. As a fellow stylist, some of my favorite boards are her Objects of Use & Props, and Tablescapes/Tabletop. I could easily create my Christmas and Birthday wish lists for eternity, directly from those boards. Swoon worthy.

Another favorite are the pins above from, Janna Lufkin, who also happens to be a stylist (I’m sensing a trend here). I love her Kitchen and Pantries board…it’s filled with inspiring kitchen images from grand to simple. And she shows her classic eye for clothing with her Great Clothes/Great Style board.

And a relatively, new to me, pinner is Lianna Boheme. Her boards have a romantic, feminine style to them that seem to transport you to a bygone era. My two favorites are her City | Mouse and Country | Mouse. For those of us who wouldn’t mind living in an apartment in the big city, and a small, quiet cottage by the lake.

Now, it’s your turn….Who are some of your favorite pinners?

Oh oh! I too am now following them! Such great pins. Gotta love pinterest. Some of my favorites that I find myself repinning from are:
    Cristi|Amelie’s little secrets (www.pinterest.com/cristiland)
    LuxeFinds (www.pinterest.com/LuxeFinds)
And honestly, myself, (www.pinterest.com/franee) because most often I spend time finding brand new pins and I really hand select things that I appreciate, love, and adore. I try to be different than other boards and pinners by repinning some of my favorites, and pinning brand new pins. I use my pins as my Christmas and birthday wish lists as well ๐Ÿ˜‰
    Cheers and Happy Pinning!

Thanks for sharing, Franee! I’m going to visit your favorites as well…yours included!

Thanks for these. I can’t wait to check them out. Two of my favorite pinners are Holly Mathis (hollymathisint) and (another stylist) Donna Talley (dtproductions).

I would die for that hutch in the kitchen. I haven’t done pinterest, though my kids do. I guess I need to get with it. I’ve been too afraid of spending more time on the computer, though maybe with the winter weather, I’ll find the time.

I know what you mean…it can be a real time tunnel. I try to limit myself to a several pins a day or only 15-20 minutes on it. Sometimes all that scrolling makes me dizzy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Stacey@ Cottage Industry

Ha! The scrolling makes me dizzy as well… I do love Pinterest though! I used to tear out pages from magazines and keep them in binders as well…Pinterest does make this much easier ๐Ÿ™‚ I like your 15-20 min, Heather, as I agree, I can really get sucked into and lose all track of time!

My absolute favorite is Ginny as well!! So much inspiration!

Right up there is Beth with Local Milk (particularly her design board. So many amazing things on there!!!), victoria Hudgins of A Subtle Revelry, and Little Emma English Home!

    • Heather Bullard

I re-pin a lot from Beth as well…she has thousands of pins! I’ll be sure to check out the others you recommend. Thanks!

    • Heather Bullard

Wow, Kathysue! You’re a pro! Love the J.Crew sleeve rolling tutorial…haven’t seen that one. Clever!

What a great post idea, Heather. I tend to repin so many things that Nancy Soriano pins, especially her Fashion Passion board. I’m off to check out the other suggestions. I REALLY need to clear out who I’m following.

    • Heather Bullard

I adore Nancy’s boards. She has a great eye for crafts and color…years of experience as an editor!

I’ve just added to the hours I will spend perusing the beautiful pinterest boards. I do love doing that but still have a couple of binders of my favorite rooms. I just can’t give them up, they still make me happy when I sit down with a cup of tea and pour over the details of designers like Randy Boyd and Whitney Fairchild.

So true. Not much beats an inspiring read and a cup of hot tea…especially on cool autumn evenings. The internet just isn’t cozy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

great post Heather Love your picks. Looking forward to time to get inspired about my surroundings.

I know what you mean. I used to print the things I wanted to save off and hubby wasn’t happy with the reams of paper I was going through and once in a while I would try to print one page and I ended up with 30 pages – huge waste, plus it is so fun to have all my resources close at hand for interior design jobs – otherwise with the thousands of things you see, you can quickly forget where you saw it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Pinterest. Definitely going to look into these pinners.

  12. phyllis

Oh mercy…I’ll be up all night b/c I want to look at every pin they pinned!

I love Local Milk …Paperfashion…Goldfish Kiss…all very different from each other.

  13. Elaine

Those pinners are fantastic. I spend entirely too much time on Pinterest. I really like The Enchanted Muse’s boards and Sandi Day’s board Cozy House.

And of course, I think my boards are pretty darn interesting!

  14. katey deasy

Oooh I will have to keep coming back to this post and check out your pinners. I like the look of them all. It’s nice to find ones you have a connection to. I find that if I like one of their boards I will like them all! Something to look forward too.

  15. Lianna

What an honor to be mentioned on your beautiful blog Heather, thank you! I just heard that I was mentioned here from a colleague of yours at Country Living. What a wonderful surprise, and such lovely blog post to be included in. Ginny Branch Stelling is a long time favorite pinner of mine too. And of course I *love* your Pinterest boards! I laughed out loud when you mentioned the binders full of magazine clippings, I still have dozens of those from the “old days” myself! So glad to hear I wasn’t the only crazy one. It must have been good training in some way! Love that this new form of social media allows us to continue to collect the images that inspire us, all the while finding new Pinning friends ๐Ÿ™‚ Best wishes to you, and thanks again x

Oh my gosh Heather! This was such a nice surprise and I’m just seeing this now! I have admired your work for such a long time and it’s so great to know you are a doll to boot! Thanks for the pinterest love ๐Ÿ™‚
