Chaps & Cake Party
I must say the party at Chaps & Cake was spectacular! As you can see no detail was spared by the lovely Celeste and Dan who own the restaurant and new bakery. The front gardens were decked out with fluffy pink tissue flowers and colorful flags all glittered up.
Their signature Chaps truck was used as the dessert buffet! Makes me want to go buy a truck for my backyard parties. Isn't it adorable?
And when you step inside the all new Cake you are greeted by this enormous SWEET sign! Puts you right in the mood for exactly that.
The caramel popcorn favors were given to the partygoers by Junebug Designs to promote their new Mad Hatter Event. Wish I lived closer so I could attend that one too!
Stepping inside the restaurant you'll find the most charming vignettes in every corner. Intimate seating areas, unique lamps, incredible fireplace mantles, and vibrant flower arrangements everywhere you turn.
The evening included a live band, children singing and playing violins, a glorious persian buffet and sweet treats galore. It was magical I tell you, just magical. The perfect ending to a wonderful show!

Beautiful!! The truck is amazing! I LOVE the tissue pom poms!! I wish I could find a tutorial on making them!!
We went to Chaps Sunday a.m. for breakfast and peeked in the window at Cake – wow! I can’t wait for it to officially open. I agree that Celeste has an amazing thing going with Chaps and now Cake! My favorite place to eat in Spokane hands down.
I’m so glad there’s no place around my town like Chaps/Cake – I would be in there ALL the time!!! Seriously, though, I do hope I have a chance to visit someday – it looks wonderful!
What fabulous photos and restaurant. It is so nice that people go outside the boring box – that truck is to die for.
And don’t get me started on Persian food….it’s the best!

Heather,
Thank you for taking such a lovely picture of the tiered caramel corn display, and mentioning our ‘Mad Hatter Event’. We would love for you to attend our very small, but magical event! You will always have an open invitation!!
P.S. We are grateful that we were able to be apart of Celeste and Dan’s celebration…Celeste is a jewel in our crown of contentment, a friendship we treasure! Both individuals are absolutely fabulous people, we are happy you were able to get to know them. xoxo Glad & Celia/Junebug

A great place to spend the celebration with your loved ones. Even though it’s simple there’s still a fabulous effect on the theme, arrangements and designs on the place. I can’t imagine the it turned out to be beautiful.
