My Latest Obsession

 

Maybe it's the summer season or the fact that I've decided I can't live in an all white house because right now I am completely obsessed with blue glass. Love, love, love it. And the hint of color is just what's needed for my mainly neutral home.

One of my favorite European antique dealers recently got in a container shipment full of great finds and I scooped up as many of the antique pickling jars as I could get my hands on. Their large size makes them perfect to hold seashells, ribbons, buttons, rolls of twine. There are so many ways to use them.

I also bought all the Hungarian milk bottles he had left. I took a ton of them to Farm Chicks and sold every last one so I was glad to be able to buy the last half dozen or so he had. They make the perfect vase for large blooms.

 

One of my favorites was this extra large vinegar jar with it's unique top. The great shape makes it a stand out piece on it's own and I love it's simple beauty.
