Recent Styling Work
The May issue of Country Living features a home I had the privilege of styling. It was a fun shoot to work on, with one of the sweetest homeowners I’ve ever met. She had such a creative eye and lots of ways to get “the look” for less!
I was able to find many of the antique props at a local store, M & M Antiques in Monroe, WA. They have a fantastic friendly staff, some of the best curated booths I’ve seen and really great prices! I wish I had one in my neighborhood because I’d be there on a weekly basis trying to hover over the new stock. Be sure to check our their FB page too…they post some of their recent finds and highlights from the vendors.
And a big thank you goes to Melaine for running errands, making returns and helping out with all the busy work that goes on behind the scenes! The lovely photos are from my friend, Victoria Pearson…you should see her portfolio, stunning!

Thanks for being such a gracious host while we worked on the shoot. Your home is so beautiful, filled with your handiwork, and your family was just the best. It was a joy! xo, H
This was such a beautiful feature in Country Living. When I was looking at it, I said to my husband, “I just really want a house so I can make it look like this!” and showed him the page. Darn Brooklyn and its small apartment living!
But you do have access to so many great restaurants, museums, shops and entertainment…the grass is always greener, isn’t it? So glad you like the feature! Maybe you can incorporate some of the ideas in your Brooklyn pad! 🙂
What a beautiful photo. I can’t wait to read my issue of Country Living. I live in Arlington and am so close to Monroe. I can’t wait to check out M & M Antiques!
Please tell them I said Hello! You will love their shop! 🙂
Did you get some time to poke around in my favorite shopping town, Snohomish?
Sure did! When I shop for props, no stone is left unturned! 😉
That was a good issue of CL.
Thank you Heather! So much.

This was my favorite spread in the entire issue. I must be drawn to your styling! 😉 Loved the cover this month, too. Clever how they took a real setting and made it their own.
