Styling Work: Sonoma Farmhouse
I’m going to play catch up with my recent styling work and post them here and there between what’s happening in real time. One of my favorite projects was styling the gorgeous Sonoma farmhouse designed by homeowner, Jann Blazona for Country Living Magazine. Every bit of her home was perfection and she had a true passion for collecting, which made my job so much fun! I was like a kid in a candy store with all those props at the ready.
One of my favorites was the vintage peach juice pitcher in the photo above. Not to mention the amazing collection of ironstone in her cabinets!

The master bath was calm and serene, and her collection of sea shells were all that was needed for the space. Isn’t the light dreamy?
We made a trip to the flower mart, along with another to a local dahlia farm to create this cabinet display. It was inspired by a photo Jann had taken previously and I worked at recreating the look. I loved the feminine pinks with the milk glass nestled in that chippy cabinet.
An avid gardener since childhood, the grounds of the property are absolutely stunning. Jann and her husband Joe Capone, built the home 10 years ago on the one and a half acre plot.
I captured a few behind-the-scenes peeks on my Instagram of their barn, my flower prep station on the back porch, and the trip to the flower mart.
Their outdoor pergola has lovely view of the pool, gardens and barn, making it the perfect place to have an al fresco dinner while watching the sunset over Sonoma county.
You can see more photos of their home here, at Country Living.

Heather,
What a pretty home. There were so many areas, indoors and out, that invited me in. Not to mention the area they live in is one of my favorites.
Thanks for sharing this.

I agree, every room is so lovely. I could have stayed permanently! 🙂
