Daily Life: Instagramming It

Over the weekend, we wrapped up shooting an entertaining story for Country Living.
It was one of those shoots where everything went smoothly, the location was heavenly, and it felt like we really were, living in the pages of the magazine. Here are a few of my Instagrams from behind-the-scenes of the shoot…

We made a road trip pit stop for a cup of joe and a homemade apple walnut muffin. I just adore coffee in real mugs. You?

It was an outdoor feature, so we didn’t shoot inside the home, but I couldn’t resist snapping a few pics. Isn’t the kitchen dreamy? Maybe for a future issue!

And I think you all know, how fond I am of the Honor System fruit stand.
Yay, for goodness and kindness in America!

I believe we had 18+ boxes of props shipped in for this one! All to be unpacked, organized, shot, then repacked and shipped back. I know our assistants were loving this part. At least we had a super cute pink dolly for hauling them around!

This was one of our afternoon snacks. I have to say, I could get used to craft services if they all looked this yummy! And trust me, they don’t. This spread was really appreciated!

And because the homeowner is a friend, I brought her a gift of oranges. It’s now my go-to gift, since I have about a zillion of them. It also made me think, I should start collecting vintage crates for just this purpose. Another item to add to my flea market list!

I’m heading to Texas this week to style a house. If you want to follow along you can find me here. Have a great week everyone! ~H
