If you receive the Anthro catalog you've seen the amazing Altair Tent. I think it's so romantic and exotic looking. I can just picture lavish parties being held in it. I also love the unexpected and simple styling of placing the tent directly in the sea. You almost forget it realistically won't work this way and the hefty price tag. 😉

I found more affordable Canvas Bell Tents for those of us not throwing a big event. If I were to go tent camping this would be my cup of tea.

I suppose all this daydreaming has to do with my long standing fascination with glamping. Someday I think I'm going to give this a whirl. And I'll be hanging pretty pennant banners across the front. You know…to welcome the bears in style!

Yes, I might be persuaded to go “glamping” in one of these too. As long as you promise there are no spiders, snakes or bears — and no beanie weanies! Isn’t “glamping” catered? 🙂

I’d leave a tent like that up all summer in the backyard….. if we didn’t have so much wind here. But I LOVE looking at all the photos and dreaming!

    Heather,
I even like the idea of a tent in the back yard for fun. I loved the image you showed us with the amazing flower arrangement on the split rail fence. Wow!

I LOVE the idea of Glamping and have always loved those tents. When I lived in Kuwait and Iraq they had a lot of Bedouin tents and I am kicking myself for not bringing one home! Maybe this is the solution

Wow, I checked the price! I guess this is for the person that has EVERYTHING. It does look so dreamy and relaxing, though. Isn’t it funny how it looks wonderful, but the reality of it sitting in the water with the waves and the fish and all that comes with it, isn’t so attractive?

I’m definitely more if a glamping kind of girl, than a true camper. I would love to go with my husband in any of these stylish tents. Perhaps I can convince him……

my kids still set-up a tent in the backyard! but, i want a tiny ‘camper’ that i can paint wild and crazy and just have some fun w/the girlfriends! i’d decorate w/banners too! some day…

These would be beautiful to just laze about in for an afternoon picnic, wouldn’t they? There’s just something so romantic and innocent about a beautiful tent.

That is really a lovely tent and very perfect to summer,in Finland tents are very useful and we all know that is also good as a tool for advertising in fact most of the business there have their own exhibition stand and tent which caught a lot of people.
