Hello…

DSC_5741_edited-1

Hi there everyone. This week has been slip, sliding away. Have you ever had one of those weeks where you feel like you hit the ground running every day? Blink, and it's almost over. I bet you can relate.

On Friday I'm hosting a ladies luncheon on my patio so I've been repotting plants, cleaning cobwebs, hanging my drop cloth drapes, purchasing an 8 ft work table to use as a buffet, begging The Man to drag it home (asap) and general spiffing up. All this in addition to my normal work day has made the time go by lickity split. There's nothing like a party to kick you into high gear with your spring cleaning!

I'll be sure to take some photos to share with you. I've sort of been avoiding my camera lately. I think it's because we're about to start production on our next issue of Flea Market Style at which point it won't leave my hands for months. Guess I'm saving all my energy/motivation/inspiration for that. Good excuse, yes?

Hi Heather! YES. I absolutely feel that way….running to get it all in, everyday. It’s always good to have something like a ladies luncheon on the docket to light a fire and get things done at home! I hope that you’ll share some of the fun with us. I LOVE your image of the lavender in the bucket. So fresh. Have a wonderful weekend and hope you have some time to slow down….for a while : ) xx P&H

Where does the time go? Last night I put the kids to bed in diapers and I read them a story, then this morning its teens that crawled out the beds…Aughhhhh!!! When, How, What The!!? How did that happen, my babies grew up so fast.
And now I feel like the grocery store is like Im stuck in the Twilight Zone, its never ending with teens… I dont have much time for my art and work.

Love your salvia(?), Heather! I can’t wait to plant some here. I wish my week were going as fast as yours! Hubby and I go away for a few days starting this weekend, and the day job is just dragging. I think that is always the way when you are looking forward to some time off/away.
