My favorite part of Easter was being with my husband.
My favorite part of my holiday was hiding the eggs for my kids to hunt and then finding that they were all missing! I think that a neighborhood dog must have eaten them! Luckily we had plastic eggs to hide! 😉
Oh I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Sis Boom!
I would HEART winning this…truly I would.
Thank you for the chance! xo
My favorite parts of the EASTER holiday are featured on Blooming on Bainbridge right now! ;o)

Then I got a French manicure!
Then a date with my hubby!
Then YOGA on Saturday morning.
Then new SPRING pillows on my couch!
Then a PICNIC and SUNNING at the BEACH!
Then a new purse on Easter morning.
Then Easter service…bright and early.

Seeing my 88 year old Dad come to brunch wearing rabbit ears….he loves to be the center of attention! Priceless…
Good morning Heather…boy how do you decide? I love the look of my little nieces and nephews faces as they find an egg during the Easter egg hunt…I absolutely love the sound of Easter music being sung by the choir at church…seems heavenly…and I love love love cooking the Easter meal for the family and listening to them laugh and tell good stories during the festive meal…It all makes for a beautiful memory!
blessings,
Debbie
My favorite part of Easter is and always has been the Easter Sunrise Service! 🙂
My favorite part of the holiday was spending some quiet time with my husband. We didn’t do much but it was a nice, relaxing weekend.
Easter is mainly a religious festival in my part of the world so the Easter day services would be the best part of the holiday.
My favorite part of Easter is watching my 5 year old grand daughter find eggs and surprises!!
Watching my daughter collect eggs in the Easter Egg hunt.
Easter was such an uplifting day in the midst of spring chaos! We went to church, went to see the movie Soul Surfer, came home to a nice ham dinner! I think it was the most time the four of us have spent together in several weeks! Lovely!
As you can see by my Easter day post on my blog, a new baby in the family made the holiday even more special to us! (In addition to the baby-fest that the day turned into, I do love Easter hymns; they generally make me all teary-eyed, especially with our church’s orchestra and organ.)

Thanks for the giveaway, Heather!

The Gahan Girls
Oh my goodness! My Mom would love this book! If I won I would give it to her! My favorite part was our annual Easter party at our community lodge. It’s so fun getting together with friends and neighbors and watching all the kids hunt for eggs! Thanks Heather! Melaine
Easter was the first 60 degree day with sunshine in a long while. There was French breakfast on a white tablecloth in L’Hotel Sofitel and conversation with a dear friend over cafe au lait. A delicious Easter Day!
Thanks for the giveaway!
This looks like such a great book. I’m always making things for my niece. My favorite part of Easter was decorating the table, making each person’s miniature ‘nest’ on their plate and place cards, and then of course everyone sitting gown for the meal.
Celebrating with my family the glorious gift of eternal life made possible through Jesus Christ is always the highlight of Easter for me. And seeing all the new life that Spring brings is such a gift, too!
Since Easter is my FAVORITE holiday to begin with, its hard to pick my favorite part of the day. But I think it would have to be when my family all sits down for our Easter dinner – its so nice for everyone to get together and spend time just talking and eating all the good food!
And this year was especially nice since I had our little new addition sitting on my lap throughout the meal! My little guy ‘Bert’ … my lovable lhasa apso puppy!
Spending time with family. Watching the kids scurry around to find the hidden eggs.
Favorite part– the sweet sweet reminder that Jesus paid it all. Can I get a whoop whoop?
Celebrating the midnight Paschal Liturgy with my church family and our wonderful Paschal Feast that followed at 2AM!
My favorite part of Easter was carving the ham with my dad. It’s always been *his job* for every big family meal.
My favorite time on Easter was being open at Country Roads for a few hours and chatting with my favorite customers, then coming home to my family for our Easter celebration and watching my three little grandkids (all under five) enjoying the day and family!!
Take care, Sue
My favorite part was of course the time with family…. food, chatting and even watching a hockey game was fun.
Family!
Drinking Bloody Marys at Brunch with my mom!
…but for some reason whenever I would leave the table my glass magically refilled!
I have a feeling Mom was involved somehow, but she never fessed up! 🙂
My favorite part of Easter is my reminder of rebirth, renewal, spring, and that it gets better after loss…..I lost my son during easter and this time of year is always hard but because it is spring I always feel better with colors, and flowers, and the beautiful greens and reminder of new life. I also really enjoy the candy. 🙂
I enjoy your website a lot. Thanks!
A marvelous Easter Brunch, sitting outside on the restaurant patio overlooking a small pond, complete with geese. We were the first to be seated outside and even though it was still a little on the cool side, the sun felt wonderful and it seemed liked spring was finally here.
A wonderful evening meal with my mom, hubs and all my 4 kids, including my daughter who is in the navy and many times away, with her boyfriend!
Unfortunately I had to work at the pharmacy 🙁 so winning the prize would be nice! My family got to enjoy brunch at church followed by our pastor’s wonderful message. We had hail damage last fall, so my family came home to pounding over their heads all afternoon.
this year my favorite part was when we were getting ready to eat – my 4 yr old grandson got off his chair – came to my side, grabbed my hand and said – blessing grandma, blessing… so everyone bowed their heads (even the ones who don’t usually do this!), and i said the little prayer that i say when my grands are with me. “Thank You God for our family and our food. amen”. i choked up half way through it!!! it was so special to know that he KNOWS to thank God ! and thank YOU and Jennifer for the generous giveawy.
Spending time with my family most of my sisters, parents and my children. Then later when my husband got off work spending the evening talking with him.
I think my favorite part of Easter sunday was when I realized that everything didn’t need to be “perfect” to be perfect. Thank you for the chance to share this book with my 12 year old daughter.
My favorite part was helping my girlfriend paint her shop! We had a really fun time. We took a break and had a wonderful Easter brunch. It was good to be with a friend and we got to be creative setting the shop up too.
There were too many special things, church, food, family and friends, egg hunt, etc…. though watching my niece go through 5 sets of clothes in one afternoon of playing with my kids was priceless…
My favorite part of the holiday was having both of my kids together, along with grandkids. They both live fairly close, but we don’t all get together at the same time very often. Even when I’m in the kitchen it is wonderful to hear brothers talking and laughing together. When rereading this, I notice that “TOGETHER” must be my favorite part!
My mom going to church with my family on Sunday morning. She is a member of a different church but decided to go with us this year!
The best part of the Easter holiday occurred during Holy Week when my new grandson was born! He was actually due on Easter day, however, was delivered by C-section a few days earlier. What a beautiful season to celebrate new birth! Thank the Lord for all His wondrous blessings!
I loved going to church and watching friends as they performed a special play. Then home and everyone in the family around our table!
I am a caregiver to my Mom 24/7. She can no longer walk or do much. I surprised her with her favorite pie–a made from scratch coconut cream pie with fluffy to die for meringue topping. I also always love our church’s sunrise service that I was able to attend.
Oh lovely giveaway!!!
We do all the easter bunny stuff on saturday so we can really focus on the resurrection of our Savior on the Sabbath. We have a set of easter eggs that tells the story of Easter with an object to go along with each scripture. My kids look forward to the “egg lesson” every year. I’m glad they are learning why Easter is such a wonderful celebration!
Fun. My fav thing about our Easter was the family. Cousins, friends, fun and food. Such a blessing.
Going to church with my family and yummy Easter dinner
little girls in easter dresses…. who could resist them!
Beautiful giveaway! My favorite part of my Easter was getting to hang out with my daughter. she used to work for us and since she started a new job I rarely get to to sit an visit with her. she hung out at our house almost all day and we went to a movie. It was great!
Spending Sunday morning celebrating the Resurrection of my Savior!
My favorite part of Easter this year was having the “day off” from all my kids activities and being able to spend quality time with them
Church and boys home from college 🙂
This Easter was a very quiet one at home with my husband – church in the morning and I spent the entire afternoon puttering around in the garden. A perfect day! ::Jill
seeing some relatives i hadn’t seen in a while
Spending time with my husband on our one year anniversary. It is so much fun to be married to your best friend! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!
I should say being with my family…But really it was the dark chocolate bunny I got!
Spending time with my family.
The favorite part of my Easter holiday was seeing the holes in the socks of my 4 year old niece after she beat it outside to participate in the Easter Egg Hunt in my sister’s backyard! Too funny! It was intense!
The best part about this Easter weekend- was seeing the excited expressions on my kid’s faces as they saw their new bunny in their Easter basket 🙂 I hope you had a fabulous Easter as well! Thanks for the chance at a fabulous give-away! I love Jen’s fabrics!
Sandy xox
I spent time at Sholom Park and it was gorgeous! A great place to meditate and enjoy a Florida afternoon! Thanks! ♥
The little kids loved to chalk draw on the back patio, after dinner our 4 yeard old grand opened his birthday gifts. said ‘thank you grandma’! We visited and laughed, visited some more. It was a wonderful afternoon with family..
I have two favorites- One, our church services were held in our small town’s restored Liberty Theater, where concerts are held now, but I grew up watching movies in. Whether it was the beautiful building or simply invites that brought an unusual number of visitors in doesn’t matter, they heard a really good message from our pastor that will hopefully spark something in them. Second, we had such a good family time all day that it wasn’t until bedtime that the kids asked, “Did we forget to color and hide eggs?” Um, the pot with white boiled eggs still sitting in it says “Yes”.
My favorite part of Easter was being with every member of my family, all of us together in one house. That hasn’t happened for a very long time and our family is going through a difficult time so yesterday was very special that way.
My favourite part of Easter this year was making resurrection cookies with my four-year-old son. As the cookies are made, we go through the story of the crucifixion. They didn’t actually work, but it was such a wonderful, bonding time together talking about a serious and joyful event.
(If you’re interested, the recipe is here: http://thepeartree.ca/2011/04/resurrection-cookies/)
Going to Mass and celebrating the resurrection and love of Christ.

My favorite part of the Easter holiday was all three of my grown daughters saying they would be really upset if I ever give up making their baskets! It did my little ole’ Mama heart good…
My favorite part of the Easter holiday this year was attending an Easter Egg Hunt with family and seeing my great grandchildren, ranging in age from 2 1/2 to 7, run around in the park hunting for the brightly colored eggs.
What a darling book! I would love to read it and have it to look at on a daily basis (I can already tell I would love it that much!)
My favorite part of Easter Sunday was watch “The Testaments” about the Savior’s appearance to the Americas after His resurrection. It makes me cry every time!
Warmest Aloha!
Tauna
That Jesus gave everything so that we could have a restored relationship with the Lord!
Sitting at my sister’s kitchen table after a long brunch with the whole family and talking about simple things while our girls played together all day.
Splendid.
My sons stayed in the kitchen all day to “help” and keep me entertained while I cooked. Being with the most important people in my life made me feel Blessed.
My favorite part of Easter morning is “Egg Fights”. Taught to me when I was young by my grandparents, it is a Latvian tradition that I have carried on to my children as well as many of our friends. Dyed eggs are knocked together to see which one survives cracking, as according to belief, the one whose egg shell was strongest, will live longer. My grandparents and my mother are no longer with us…but every Easter morning we all feel close to them as we are having our “egg fights”
Thank you for a lovely giveaway 🙂

My favorite part of Easter was coming home this morning after working three 12 hour shifts at the hospital and taking a bubble bath and sleeping!!! (not in the tub)
I would love that book, I sew for little girls! Love, Linda
My favorite part of Easter was realizing I am really a Mom. I woke up at 5 am and realized the Easter Bunny had not arrived. I jumped out of bed… put the baskets out for my 8yo and 14month old…Then I started hiding eggs in the yard (bribing our two dogs not to bark) I then put out the stuffed easter bunny on a metal bench in the front lawn between the boxwood shapped bear and duck….scattered extra large easter eggs (metal and plastic) so it looked like Easter had arrived. After doing a few more Easter things like baking cookies and coloring eggs, the kids and Mr Easter Bunny were up and the day was on. Church, symphony and picnic in the park, visiting grandparents, dinner, putting the kids to bed…I was exhausted but my favorite part of Easter was realizing I am really a Mom. (I always wanted to have kids to share the holidays with and now I have a dream come true!!!!)
Spending the day with my family.
My favorite part of the holiday was relaxing after running around to all of the meals. I enjoyed the quiet.
The brass ensemble that played at church.
it was really nice to be busy again! going to the inlaws then some afternoon shopping and then more family! i love family days 🙂 Reminds me of how things were when i was a kid.
My favorite part of my Easter holiday was watching my 3 year old help my 1 year old find Easter eggs. She even hid eggs on Saturday to help her sister “practice” so she would know what to do on Easter morning 🙂
Attending church with family.
My favorite part is the whole preparations from picking up the right dresses for evrybody to decoarting the house, going to church to the eggs hunting
Easter dinner with family tops the list! An excuse for making crafts runs a close second!
Family and phone calls from those far away!

A hidden egg! You’d think that they found a
Million dollars! I also REALLY like Reeses
Peanut butter eggs!
I LOVE love love watching my 3 kids run around finding eggs! This year I got tickled because my son (he is a fraternal twin to my oldest daughter)is suddenly 6’1″ at 14 years old, so it was humorous watching his big “man-sized” body running around after eggs! LOL
We had a wonderful Eater this year we went to church in the morning [ awesome celebration] then me and the hubby got a 3 mile run in so it was a great day
My favorite part of Easter was the brunch at my sister’s new home. She’s gone through a divorce and has begun to rebuild her life which included buying a her first little home in the city. She hosted her first gathering in her new home on Easter Sunday and it was wonderful! I’m so very proud of her!
Abby
My favorite part of Easter was when the pastor said, “He is Risen” and we all joyously replied, “He is Risen Indeed!”. The worship music included my favorite song In Christ Alone which was a bonus for me!
The book looks AMAZING! Love all the fabrics, too!
We (me, husband, 7 children, son-in-law and his family) tried something new this year and went on a picnic. We took a “real” tablecloth and dishes–no paper throw-aways. We played croquet and had an egg hunt. It is now considered one of our best Easter days!
***Sunrise***
Pretty easter dresses!
Being with my family! Thanks for the giveaway.
My family!!!!
My favorite part of Easter was playing “Five Crowns” card game and some active competition on the X-Box Kinect (your body is the controller!). So fun!
Being with the men I love:)
I loved having special family times. It brought a smile to my face to see my nephews (who are young fathers) hiding Easter eggs for all the children in my family to hunt. It doesn’t seem that long since we were hiding the eggs for them.

Enjoying time with family and church friends.
My favorite part of Easter was when I pulled the pineapple dressed ham out of the oven…I must have done a good job because my four year old kept telling me how beautiful it was.
Having a small intimate Easter with just my husband and two children:)
Spending time with my mom, brother, sister-in-law, niece, husband, stepdaughter, and two kiddos. It’s always about the people! Thanks for a chance to win!
Lots of time spent outside in the sunshine with my husband and 4 boys! But, I’m pretty sure the highlight of the weekend came when my 2 1/2 year old niece came to share in the egg hunt with my guys. What a hoot when she found her first egg and had no need to go any further – she was content! Needless to say my boys showed her the ropes on how to REALLY enjoy an egg hunt. Great memory!
Being with our children and grandchildren
{we don’t get together often enough}
This will be an easter we will all remember as our daughter got engaged easter morning!
Thank you for the wonderful give away! I love making things for our grandchildren and neighbor kids.
Smiles,
Dolly
I got to go to a Flea Market in Old Town Tustin, California on Easter!! Can you believe it?!? A Flea Market that was open on Easter?!? Pure bliss. I wouldn’t have it any other way, except going with my Mama! 🙂
I think the very best part of Easter is eating the ears off rabbits. You know the are the part with most vitamins.
Just happened upon your lovely blog…thanks for a chance at the give away!
My favorite part of Easter is always when the kids go on a hunt for their easter baskets. They are so giddy and excited while trying to find them. It’s so cute!

I was sick in bed with a cold, but my favorite part was it was a beautiful day to look out the window and listen to the birds.

As we are in southern France, I brought the orange Reeses which were encased in a bag to look like a carrot. The Easter bunny delivered these to each neighbors door (dangling from a fence, swinging from a door knocker, or tied to a vine), the street looking like Mr. McGregor’s garden. They brought smiles to everyones face!
Definitely, watching my grandchildren run around and search for eggs!
Thanks for this great chance to win!
Janey
It definitely has to be celebrating with my family.
Whoa good thing I caught this blog in time, the deadline is tomorrow! My favorite part of Easter is spending Easter Sunday with my family and setting up scavenger hunts for all the little kids!
Being with my family
Setting out the Easter breakfast table, having some fresh flowers on the table, an open balcony door as it was lovely weather. The possibility of taking the time to enjoy breakfast at leisure.
First I would like to say, I love that book! I saw it over at SisBoom. I would have to say seeing my grandson was the best part of Easter Sunday. He is such a doll, I wish I could show a pic. Aedyn is 3 and the love of my life. (i do love my children too!)I have taken care of Aedyn since he was a baby and he recently started going to school everyday. I miss him terribly. So Sunday I was able to play and hug and talk to him and give him lots of kisses.
Having the time to watch a marathon of American Pickers!
I’m grateful for an opportunity to consider Christ’s death – the core of my faith. It allows me refresh, refocus and renew my heart in the midst of my busy life.
After being away at school for 5 yrs, my oldest daughter was able to spend Easter home with all of our family.
My Easter was lovely mainly thanks to the gorgeous spring weather we experienced …. it has been sunny!! Easter in the North of England is usually a little dull, but this year it has been stunning. x
My favorite was watching my kids scramble to find the eggs we hid in our garden- a flurry of colors pretty dresses, smiling faces and colorful eggs, pure magic!
It was great having both sides of our family come together for a brunch at our home on such a beautiful day.
Spending the day with my husband and children. A yummy breakfast followed by the annual egg hunt and then letting the day unfold naturally. Was blissful!
watching my 3 girls have an egg hunt w/their baby cousin and helping her instead of getting all the eggs themselves. =)
I think my favorite part of Easter this year was the look on my 17 year old son’s face when he realized that the Easter Bunny brought him a basket!
The very best part about Easter is the whole reason for the holiday or holy day. The celebration at church on Sunday!!
We are very far from family so I had the best day I could with my husband and son!
My favorite part of Easter is just being with my family and good friends. I also had so much fun watching the kids find their easter eggs!!
Beautiful blog!

Thanks for the opportunity to win this gorgeous gift!
Well, I was stuck at home with a puking girly, not to say I was unable to look at the bright side of the situation. The highlight of my day was cuddled up with her on the couch while Daddy took the other three girls to church. Not often I get time alone with one of my daughters AND an excuse to lay around and do nothing! What can I say, she needed me:) (That’s right! I have 4 girlies…..ages 10, 8, 6 and 4!) PICK ME!!!!
The egg hint with my two daughters, ages 5 and 1.
Its just a fun relaxed holiday. Going to church with family and enjoying a good meal. Stealing candy from my sons’ Easter Basket.
Watching my children enjoy the holiday. They make it all worthwhile.
The anticipation of being with all my kids (all girls–2 daughters, 3 granddaughters) was so exciting, and we ended up having a delightful time. Good Friday Service was exceptional and I left rejoicing! I am definitely renewed and recharged.
My favorite part was getting spend the day with family. Watching all of our kids finding eggs and the Grandparents watching with joy. And to top it off it was my Dad’s birthday as well!!
That period of time after our Easter meal was eaten and we sat around the table talking as a family.

My favorite part was hunting for eggs with my nephews and niece. I may be 22, but hunting for eggs never gets old!
Seeing my baby nephew!!
Hi Heather, I would love to win this beautiful giveaway. My favorite part of Easter this year was going to a friends house for lunch. It was very relaxing and the food was delish. You see, all my boys (3) and their families don’t live in the same town as me and it was just too much driving for one day and my only grandchild was sick with strep.
Hope you are having a happy spring.
Linda
It is lovely to dye the eggs and watch the joy on my childrens face but better still to know of the eternal salvation that is mine because of the sacrafice my Lord made for me.
favorite part was feeling the love surrounding me.
ok this is an easy one…..I bought bunny ears at the dollar aisle in Target…and took pics of EVERYONE that day with my grand daughter who is one and walked for the first time that day….and it was so fun…even my mother got into the act…you can see them all in thier ears on my blog:)
Simple. Sunday morning, the Tomb is Empty! Jesus has risen from the dead!
So happy to have a chance to win my friend Jennifer’s book! She is such a sweetie!
He is risen & Family
This Easter was pretty untraditional with only 3 of us. The boy’s first choice for the meal was pizza, sorry we’re not breaking tradition that much! But I did bake and decorate our usual lamb shaped cake, even if I only made the front of the mold. So the best part was that last little together time sitting together eating cake before our son went back to college.
Susanne.
Maundy Thursday church service. It was very moving. Brought to the bright light how unworthy I am of the gift that God gave me.
The squealing excitement my two goddaughters had when they were running around the backyard looking for Easter eggs during our Easter egg hunt. It was SO delightful to hear their excitement and surprise and delight when they found the eggs. I can’t wait to see them next year in their “Jennifer” dresses 🙂

Being with my family all day – Church,Lunch, Egg hunt and lots of laughs!
Seeing my kids’ faces when they first saw their Easter baskets. They were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought for them 🙂
My favorite part of our Easter celebration is “He is risen, as He said.” Jesus arose “as He said” so I can count on Him for all his other promises… Blessings!
What a lovely giveaway. My favourite bit of the holidays was spending time in the hot sunshine with some very dear friends who we don’t see enough of. Really uplifting, encouraging and generally fantastic to be with.
i had many favorites about my easter weekend!!! had a surprisingly great time with my inlaws, great morning at church and then a wonderful afternoon with my family!!!
My favorite? How to choose. . . hmmmm. . .well to choose from my three little girls in their gorgeous Easter dresses, finding their Easter baskets filled with wonderful treats, Easter lunch with tons of family and Easter egg hunting, of course, is hard. I believe my favorite moment though, would have to be when we arrived to church a few moments after announcements had started and our announcer quietly and patiently waited as we walked down the center aisle and began to take our seat. The announcer smiled at one of my little girls and said, “Littel Rabbit” to which my Little replied, quite loudly, “Bunny Tummy!” pointing to her treat filled tummy. Perfect comical topper to a wonderfully fun day.
Having my family all together, it seems like it happens less as time flies by. But I love it when it does happen!
Going to Easter Mass and spending time with our family is my favorite part of the day! Hope you enjoyed yours too! wonderful giveaway!! susan
