Tea For Two

My Valentine for you today are these sweet Tea For Two tags. The double sided, fold-over tags have blank centers for you to write a special note to your loved one.

To give your Valentine the gift of tea & cookies…simply wrap a few shortbreads or homemade cookies along with a tea bag in a small bundle of cheesecloth. Use cotton butchers twine to secure the tag.  If you'd like, you can tea stain the cheesecloth to make it look more natural.

I think these would make the perfect take away gift for a Valentine party and a thoughtful small gift for your friends and neighbors!

My mom loves going to tea parties. She collects teapots and the cups and saucers. These would be an adorable gift for her on Valentines Day. I love to give my parents a little something on V Day.
I love the tags that you have done lately. So sweet!
    Thank You!

These are really adorable! Thanks for making and sharing them. BTW, did you know that January is National Hot Tea Month? (I just learned that myself!)

Thank you so, so much for sharing… and just in time for my daughter’s 5th birthday party this coming weekend… a tea party! We’re gonna try to “white out” the “Happy Valentine’s Day” and have her write her name instead. What a sweet little addition to the party.

I wanted to thank you again for sharing the tea bag tags as well as all the other Valentine’s printables and ideas this past week. I mentioned in an earlier comment that I planned to use the tags for my daughter’s birthday tea party this past weekend. They were a perfect little addition to our party favors. I’m sure you’re incredibly busy and likely don’t have the chance to visit “commenters” blogs but just in case you might, here is the link to our tea party post: http://juddfamilyofsix.blogspot.com/2011/01/time-for-tea.html. I so enjoy visiting your blog and always get excited when I see you have a new post. You create such beautiful things and inspire me to try and do the same… thank you!

These are just the gift I was looking for! We have been on purpose about getting to know our neighbors as we just moved into this historic neighborhood 3 months ago:) And it seems “being a good neighbor” is a historic idea, we are reviving…so cookies and a card at Christmas, shoveling our neighbor’s sidewalk, and now this fabulous Valentine on their doorsteps…Thanks for the printable template! Next…summer block party? I think so!
