The Farm Chicks Show Highlights
Wow, what a show! I can’t believe how many people attended this year and was amazed by the absolutely incredible vendors. Serena did a fantastic job putting it together and we had the best time! Because I was sooo busy I’m afraid I don’t have many pictures in fact I have almost none.
You can find a very large list of blogs with photos here. There were cameras everywhere! Thank goodness for all those roving reporters.
I want to say a very big heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to say hello, introduce themselves, give props to The Man on Chez Poulet, tell me they enjoy reading my little blog, purchased our wares and shared a friendly smile and kindness. I loved meeting all of you!
The community of bloggers who stopped by my booth was an absolute joy and getting to visit with many of you was such fun. Boy, the stories…so hilarious! Not to mention the serious shoppers who came to conquer the antiques!
I do have some photos of the Chaps party that took place on Saturday night and will post those next. But I want to leave you with my very favorite (out of focus & grainy) photo of the entire trip:
What can I say? He makes me weak in the knees. I love him to pieces and could not do ANY of this without him. He’s supportive, loving, funny, strong and a true man’s man. He helps me tote my “junk” across the country and loads, unloads, loads, and unloads the trailer without complaining. Seeing him at the end of a very long day laughing at dinner with friends is just the icing on the cake. The Man has captured my heart and I am forever grateful for his love. He is simply, the best!

love that you don’t take him for granted. it’s the little things in life that make our days so wondedrful. I too have a very supportive husband, working full time as a crisis worker and starting my creative business has made our lives a little crazy at time but having the support of the ones you love makes all the difference.
Looks lovely! And the stuff is nice too… 😉
Oh I would have loved to attend this show so much!
I so many pictures of your beautiful booth on other blogs already. Love your flower choice too!
Btw seeing this picture of your hubby and the one Andrea Singarella showed of her hubby on her blog right now I come to think you must share the same hubby the hehe 😉
How sweet! I love to see pictures of “The Man” on your blog.
Oh my, are you going to be selling those french totes in your shop? Love them.
Hi there! It was so nice to meet you at the show and discuss chickens! I hope yours are laying soon… mine are a little farther behind… especially the 3 new babies my hubby added while I was out. I told him I met the lady who made the awesome chicken coop and we discussed again how genious painting the inside is! I thought I share a good tip I got…. if you have to repaint use boat/marine paint. It wears like crazy! Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Renee
The pictures are great and it look’s like there were a lot of treasures. Thank’s for sharing……
What beautiful photos!! I so wished I could have been there this year…maybe next. 😉 Sounds like you had a great time! That is the nicest moment you captured of your husband and so sweet that he is your biggest supporter. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Victoria
Heather,
Your booth was the best – it was a treat to see, along with your smiling face. Hope to see you in Minnesota when you visit with Ki. Would still like to buy your adorable 3 hook rack from ya…but no pressure {wink, wink}…

Gorgeous show pics, I wish I could have attended. Maybe next year! And love that deep dimple on The Man too, you could park a car in that thing! Adorable.
Heather,
Your comment about your hubby made me cry, the good kind of cry. Appreciating our husbands and building them up is so needed in our day. It is a reminder of how our mouths can be a fountain of living water. What a beautiful tribute to your husband and such a wonderful way of honoring him! I’m sure he just adores you as well.
Blessings,
Karon Nichols (Sharon Schutte’s twin sister)

I love it when someone spontaneously throws their head back when they laugh. Glad you had a great time.

LOVE THOSE BASKETS! I have one, but mine doesn’t have a leather bottom! Tradeja 🙂
Hi Heather, we were so happy we got the chance to chat a little with you at the Farm Chicks, your booth was heavenly and we were thrilled with our purchases. What great memories we will have! Blessings to you and your too sweet hubby! Glad & Celia/Junebug Furniture & Design
Hello Heather~ I hear you…my hubby has been haulin’ and toten’ my junk for over 18+ years. Fortunately we’ve cut our show list considerably.
He helps me man my booth too, which (as you know)can be daunting at times.
I too am grateful to have a hubby who loves and supports me in the trenches.
I hope to attend the Farm Chicks show next year.
I loved the following quote expressed about the show, as someone entered the front door….
“I’m happy already!”
Sweet wishes,
Sara
How Grand,it’s like a Hallmark Movie!

Hello Sweet Heather,
Just hopping by to get caught up on your adventures. One day I’d love to make it to one. Love the picture of your man and of course that he remains by your side with his strength in support and much laughter. It truly made me smile..
And might I say, I also laughed with you as I saw little bella with that feather too….
Happy Summer me dear.
Warmly with Hugs,
Karla

Your space was beautiful. But, unless they get a bigger space this will be my first and last year as it was a complete zoo. They were so many people you couldn’t move. We tried a couple different times and it didn’t make any difference. I know it was a great success for the vendors but, it was awful for everyone else. Thanks for sharing the photos even if you didn’t have many and you guy is wonderful.
Love all the pictures and stories from all bloggers who attend this grand event. One day I will have to make my way up there all the way from Texas. “Weak in the knees”, you are one blessed woman.
Being married to an ol’ cowboy of similar nature I have to say I agree that had to have been the best picture of all. Very sweet indeed.
Thanks for such a well rounded blog.

Hi Heather,
I was at the farm chicks and saw you, but you were sooooooooo busy. Your booth was great! Hope you had a good show.
Cindy @ haleyscottage.blogspot.com
I love everything I found in your booth. It all looks so good in the wonderful vintage swim locker basket…that I left if sitting where I took a picture of it! You were crazy busy when I was there so I didn’t introduce myself – but I really enjoy your blog and your booth is a must see.
Gorgeous photos that make me wish I was there and sort of make me feel like I was. Isn’t it wonderful to share your life with someone that steals your breath away?
heather it was such a pleasure meeting and visiting briefly with you at the show. It was so great to visit with your sweet Idaho friend as well. We live in different parts of the state, but it was still fun to meet another Idahoan there. It was also wonderful seeing your dear husband, It is evident that he feels the same way about you.
hugs,
june
Sounds like it was great!
But I wanted to mention that I love that you posted your man and all the sweetness that you had to say about him. I love a great love story and yours sounds great! Love is beautiful! Thanks Heather!
ahh so sweet, he is a trooper!! it was so nice to “meet” you!! I am still waiting for my goodies that had to be shipped home in a huge box, ya know you can only fit so much in a suitcase! 🙂 happy monday!
I’m so thrilled to have met you, Heather. You’re even more radiant in person, and I adored your booth (especially that baby bathtub!). Your comments about your husband are heart-warming and true . . . the two of you obviously belong together, and the happiness is positively contagious! Hope to see you next year (or maybe at a California flea market down the road).

Ahhh…such a sweet post and that last little ditty {about The Man} is my favorite. I love it when women build up their men.
