Texas Antiques Week
Well, I got a bee in my bonnet and at the last minute decided I needed to make a trip to Antiques Week in Texas this spring. So I cleared my schedule, booked my flight, hitched a ride from the airport (in a UHaul) from my friends and found a few roomies who were also planning the trip and away I go.
I’m flying out this Sunday for the adventure and I’ve signed up with Twitter if you’d like to follow along my junkin’ journey. Should be lots of fun! I promise photos when I return. This girl needs a vacation!

Heather! I’m so happy for you! We are having great weather in Texas. Spring has sprung! The last time I was at Warrenton, 2 years ago, I recognized you from your blog and you invited me and my friends to your blogging party. We met Carol and Deb, Teresa and Linda! You were so so warm, friendly and pretty. We had so much fun! Do you remember the cute cowboy/sheriff on horseback? I was trying out blue bicycle, when he came riding down the road, turned out I had taught him when he was in elementary school…we laughed and you took pics! Thanks for the fun memory. In the meanwhile I enjoy your blog.
Have a blast!

Dear Heather,
Sorry to get off the subject, but i remember a tutorial you did a while back on how to achieve a vintage look on a modern dress form.
A close friend of mine was blessed to find one at a local goodwill shop,
and i told her that you had explained this process on your blog.
If this is correct, could you please steer us in the direction of which entry date it was.
We’ve been looking like crazy.
It’s possible that it was someone else’s blog, but i could have sworn it was yours.
Hope you are having a great time in Texas.
She and i and another close friend just returned on Wed.
Talk about walk our swollen little feet off. ( Or, big feet i should say now!)
We even managed to venture out to The Antique Rose Emporium.
Such prolific gardens! Unbelievable! I think it will be another two weeks before the majority of the roses will be in full bloom.
Well worth another trip, just to see them in their glory!
thank you so much in advance,
sincerely-marilyn
I’m very happy to find your gorgeous blog and to take a journey through Texan flea-markets.And I love your chicken!

Heather ~ I truly enjoy your posts! Your photos and vignettes are something to aspire to! Thank you for the inspiration and Happy Easter. Monica
Incredible.
I wouldn’t be able to stand not buying big, bulky things! I would have to drive home for sure all the way back to the NW.
have a great time, Heather!
Lara
I really want that shell picture!
