Completely Random

1. I started decorating for Easter. At a standstill right now because I need to go to the nursery to buy some fresh potted flowers to bring indoors. Maybe a trip to the florist too. And See's Candy shop.

2. Most of my herb pots have been planted. I'm growing cilantro, basil, flat leaf parsley, sage, rosemary, chives, mint, lavender and thyme. They are so much cheaper to grow than to buy at the market. We also planted a vegetable garden but it's too early to photograph. Teeny, tiny little plants right now.

3. I bought two of these Montclair Paisley Pillows from Pottery Barn and I can't decide if I love them or hate them. My sister says to keep them. I think the problem is I need to recover my sofa or completely get rid of it. I feel like I'm putting lipstick on a pig. I think Craigslist will have a new item very soon.

4. On occasion I really love washing dishes by hand. I love the piping hot sudsy water, carefully scrubbing them inside and out and laying them in the sunlight on a fresh clean towel. I found these small glass mugs at the flea market this weekend. I'm going to use them at Easter for fresh squeezed lemonade.

Rand5

5. I could eat all of these in one day. I won't. But I could if I wanted to. We actually fight over them in our house like they're the last piece of pie. I love me some Cuties!

Rand6

6. A ton of shopping has been going on. I've been stocking up on antiques for my spring shows. It's going to be very hard to sell some of this. I may need therapy for separation anxiety.

Rand7

7. Bella is going to need a new nickname. I can't decide on "The Chicken Wrangler" or "The Chicken Whisperer". She is unbelievably friendly with our chicks. They love her and run to see her when she comes to play. They scoot under her belly like she's a mother chicken and follow her around the pen. Absolutely adorable I tell you.

Well, that about covers my random blathering. I hope all of you are having a great week! Thanks so much for dropping by. Chat soon! H.

Simply adorable that Bella is the Mom to those chicks. How precious is that? I totally get the separation anxiety of selling what you have found. Sometimes you just can’t do it, I tell ya.

Hi Heather, I talked to Ki on Sunday and she said you were coming down to Texas. When and where will you be. I’m headed out to round top and warrenton on Thu and Fri of this week. My schedule mandated I go this week instead of next week. I figure you’ll probably be out there next week since Marberger will be open then.
    Just checking.
