Hello…

Rjar1

It's Thursday already? I can't believe how fast this week is zipping by. I've been buried under a mini mountain of work that's kept me busy from sun up to sun down. Hope to have my chaos a little more under control soon.

Perhaps the happiest thing I've read all week came from here. Wouldn't you agree? Absolutely lovely news. I just know that precious baby will have a storybook life filled with hand smocked dresses, homebaked goodies, bedtime stories and lots & lots of hugs and kisses.

    Hi, Heather!
So good to have you back….missed your posts and lovely photographs. Really. Really. Been checking and checking, but no Heather..til today. Yeay!
Have not located the magazine here in Northern California yet (yet I saw in SF at the Borders has been posted on FMS site), but will keep checking. I am further North. There is hope, I know!

Stopped by to see your blog. Wonderful news about the adoption, our neice just adopted a little boy from Texas – named him ‘Charlie’ – he’s just about the cutest baby I’ve ever seen.

Beautiful photo – I long for summer roses. Yes, Alicia’s news is so exciting. They will be wonderful parents.
I picked up a copy of Flea Market Style and although I haven’t read it through yet, I think your article is going to be my favorite.

Hello Heather. Just wanted to let you know that the magazine is in Canada, in a city outside of Vancouver, BC, called Langley, at the Chapters store. Chapters is similar to your ‘Borders’. I was so excited to see the magazine that I was reading it as I walked out the door after paying for it, not even waiting to get home! It is absolutely wonderful. Your work is beautiful, as always, and there is a great cross-section of ideas in there. I am currently using one of the layouts as inspiration for my studio. (How does a ‘Soda Shoppe Studio)’ sound? I scrapbook and do paper works and was looking for a way to use my 1950’s things I have collected over the years that don’t seem to fit anywhere. I think they will make my studio very interesting and many of the items will be great storage and display pieces. I love your work. The layers you put into your displays are so beautiful, as is your photography. thank you,
    Christine

As a fellow adoptive parent, I’m so excited for Alicia and her husband. They are going to be wonderful parents.
I finally got the magazine and I LOVE IT!

Fianlly picked up a copy yesterday. All I can say is it’s wonderful. I sat down for an entire hour and the photos are great. Loved it from cover to cover. Congrats to you and the whole team I think you have got yourself a winner. I sure hope there will be more to come.
