Texas Junkin’n Day Three
Hey everyone, I thought you’d like to see a little more of the Junk Gypsies. Here’s the main entrance to their tent.
Here’s Mama Gypsie loading new goods. We’ve seen them buying more inventory around the shows. I’m guessing they are selling like hotcakes. Here’s the tamale shack. Haven’t tried them yet but isn’t their building hysterical?
There are lots of great old buildings scattered all across these small towns.
I have so much more to share and I think I’m going to have to wait until I get home to give you the full blown stories. We had the Blog Party which was so much fun, are still eating pie and may switch to cake today, and have been spending money like water. See? Lots to share! Thanks so much for coming along with me on this great trip, more to follow! Hugs, Heather

Hi Heather, the more I think about it, then dream while sleeping about it, are you able to tell me who the fabric designer of the fabric in the Junk Gypsie entrance way, I really would love to get my hands on that fabric, or is it vintage? would you be so kind to ask them where they got it from or ask them how much they would sell it for, If you can’t I totally understand as I know your very busy finding your own treasures, To me it looks something like Tricia Guild would design! anyway I thought I’d ask! Have fun : )

Kirstie.

Dear Heather, I’m so sad that I couldn’t make it to Round Top this year, but am living vicariously through you. Thanks for all the eye candy!

Wasn’t Round Top wonderful! A little muggy, hot and humid but definetly worth it!!! Too funny…I took the same pic of The Junk Gypsy floral drapes. They were beautiful. As soon as you saw those drapes you just WANTED to go in there. Love your blog and enjoy reading it!

I had to hop to your blog again to see how your adventure is going It’s a happy feeling and such a delight to feel gracefulness mixed with talent that look irresistible. It’s a real romantic lady side that lays within ourselves. The vendors you’ve found are not what we have here at home. I miss being with you two, but I’m sure it’s very very important to not miss the right thing, more just all eyes and talking happens after the hunt. I hope you’ll both each have some things in your boutiques.
Take care,
Hugs,
Karla
